The Mestizo Spectrum is a mixed-race Spectrum of varying degrees of Indigenous American & Caucasian or West Eurasian ancestry.
Castizos are the 1st gallery of photos, they are 70-80% Caucasian & 20-30% Indigenous American, genetically speaking, Many of them can pass as exotic Europeans, others can pass for Middle Easterners or North African, & others have a more stereotypical Mestizo phenotype, Castizos can be found mostly in Northern Mexico (including Jalisco), Costa Rica, parts of Colombia (such as the Paisa region), & the Southern Cone, & some Metis in Canada, the offspring of a Castizo & a pure or nearly pure Caucasian is considered a Criollo de Vuelta, a Espomolo, or a admixed Caucasian.
Balanced Mestizos are the 3rd gallery of photos, they are 40-60% Caucasian & 40-60% Indigenous American, genetically speaking, they have the most stereotypical look of Latinos (especially Mexicans), they can sometimes pass for a Central or South Asian, but usually have a New World phenotype, they are found mainly in Mexico, Central America (such as El Salvador, Honduras, & Nicaragua), & South America (such as Ecuador, Paraguay, & Chile), & some Metis in Canada.
Indo-Mestzos (also known as Coyotes, Lobos, & Cholos) are the 4th & last gallery of photos, they are 60-80% Indigenous American & 20-40% Caucasian, genetically speaking, many can pass for Southeast Asians, while some can pass for Polynesians, while others can pass for South Asians, & very few can pass as Central Asians, they are found mainly in Southern Mexico, parts of Central America (such as Guatemala & El Salvador), & the Andes region.(Ecuador, Peru, & Bolivia), the offspring of a Indo-Mestizo & a pure or nearly pure Indigenous American is considered a Indio de Vuelta, or a admixed Indigenous American.
