What's the Mestizo Spectrum?

The Mestizo Spectrum is a mixed-race Spectrum of varying degrees of Indigenous American & Caucasian or West Eurasian ancestry.

Castizos are the 1st gallery of photos, they are 70-80% Caucasian & 20-30% Indigenous American, genetically speaking, Many of them can pass as exotic Europeans, others can pass for Middle Easterners or North African, & others have a more stereotypical Mestizo phenotype, Castizos can be found mostly in Northern Mexico (including Jalisco), Costa Rica, parts of Colombia (such as the Paisa region), & the Southern Cone, & some Metis in Canada, the offspring of a Castizo & a pure or nearly pure Caucasian is considered a Criollo de Vuelta, a Espomolo, or a admixed Caucasian.

Harnizos (also known as Chamizos) are the 2nd gallery of photos, they are 60-69% Caucasian & 30-40% Indigenous American, genetically speaking, many of them also pass for Middle Easterners or North Africans, some can pass for South Asians, others can pass for Central Asians, & a few can pass for very exotic Europeans, a very tiny few have a more Amerindian phenotype, as a result of a throwback, many however have a more stereotypical Mestizo phenotype, but with slightly more Caucasian influence, Harnizos usually have more obvious Amerindian influence in their phenotype, compared to Castizos, making them more racially ambiguous, they can be found mostly in the Chicano or Mexican-American population in the Southwestern United States, as well as Northern Mexico (including Jalisco), Costa Rica, the Paisa region in Colombia, the Southern Cone, & parts of Brazil & Venezuela, & possibly parts of Nicaragua, & some Metis in Canada as well, the offspring of a Harnizo & a pure or nearly pure Caucasian is considered a Criollo de Vuelta, a Espomolo, or a admixed Caucasian.

Balanced Mestizos are the 3rd gallery of photos, they are 40-60% Caucasian & 40-60% Indigenous American, genetically speaking, they have the most stereotypical look of Latinos (especially Mexicans), they can sometimes pass for a Central or South Asian, but usually have a New World phenotype, they are found mainly in Mexico, Central America (such as El Salvador, Honduras, & Nicaragua), & South America (such as Ecuador, Paraguay, & Chile), & some Metis in Canada.

Indo-Mestzos (also known as Coyotes, Lobos, & Cholos) are the 4th & last gallery of photos, they are 60-80% Indigenous American & 20-40% Caucasian, genetically speaking, many can pass for Southeast Asians, while some can pass for Polynesians, while others can pass for South Asians, & very few can pass as Central Asians, they are found mainly in Southern Mexico, parts of Central America (such as Guatemala & El Salvador), & the Andes region.(Ecuador, Peru, & Bolivia), the offspring of a Indo-Mestizo & a pure or nearly pure Indigenous American is considered a Indio de Vuelta, or a admixed Indigenous American.
